BROGAN SUSPECTED CRUCIATE INJURY COULD PUT AN END TO HIS YEAR
It’s being reported by the Herald that Dublin legend Bernard Brogan suffered a cruciate ligament injury in training that will see him sit out the GAA season.
The 33 year old All Star Forward was expected to start this past Saturday after being named in Jim Gavin’s selection to face Donegal, but was replaced by Paddy Andrews before throw in.
This is a massive blow for both the Dublin team and Brogan himself as many would have speculated this could be the Oliver Plunkett Eoghan Ruadh stars last season in the blue jersey.
Brogan has been a main stay in the Dublin set up, shooting the lights out for so many years, capturing eleven Leinster titles and five All Ireland crowns, along with his Footballer of the Year award in 2010.
We’ll bring you more as it unfolds.
