DUBLIN PLAYER OF THE WEEKEND

Well it’s that time of the week again when we choose the We Are Dublin, Dublin Player Of The Weekend.

For our new followers who don’t know what this is, it’s an award we give to the player we believe was the standout Dublin player of the previous weekends intercounty action.

We had plenty of action to choose from between Camogie and Ladies football last weekend and there were plenty of players up for consideration.

But our winner this week comes from the Dublin Camogie Minor B Camogie squad who played out a thrilling draw with Carlow last Friday night in the Leinster Championship.

There were some excellent displays from the likes of Nicole Burnett who finished top scorer on the night with 0-07, Sarah Brennan who contributed 1-01 and Aoife Stack and Chloe Ní Cheallaigh who both had excellent games.

But this weeks winner put in a shift and a half, battled for ball all over the pitch, got on to a mountain of possession and drove Dublin on with strong running and clever passing.

So our winner this week of the We Are Dublin, Dublin Player Of The Weekend Is KATE BUCKLEY.

Congratulations Kate very well deserved for your excellent performance last weekend.
