DUBLIN SENIOR CAMOGIE TEAM NAMED FOR LEAGUE CLASH WITH KILKENNY

Littlewoods Ireland National Camogie Leagues, Division 1
Kilkenny v Dublin
Sunday March 12th
Venue: Tom Ryall Park, Kilkenny
Throw-In: 3pm

David Herity has named his Dublin starting team to face All Ireland Champions Kilkenny in tomorrow’s Littlewoods Ireland National Camogie League Division 1 encounter.

The league hasn’t gone as planned for the girls in blue so far as they wait to claim their first league points of the campaign.

They couldn’t ask for a sterner test than facing the All Ireland champs in their own back garden.

There are a number of personnel and positional changes to the team named the last day with most of them in the forward division, not surprising as the girls in blue having struggled for scores.

Leah Butler moves to the corner back position with Eimear McCarthy coming in to take her place at number 5.

There is a new midfield partnership with Miriam Twomey switching from corner forward to the much more familiar surrounds of the Dublin engine room in place of Doireann Mullany.

With Siobhan Kehoe moving to centre half forward the other midfield place sees Alex Griffen coming into the side.

Up front Ali Twomey and Sarah O’Donovan come into the half forward line and Aisling Maher moves up one line to the full forward position.
