Dublin U16B Camogie team lead by the bare minimum at half time in a closely fought Leinster Championship battle with Wexford this afternoon in Parnell Park.
Both sides have found the underfoot conditions difficult and just lifting the ball off the soggy ground and long grass has been a struggle for both sides.
Midway through the half Wexford led by three points thanks to a goal by Aoife Dempsey. But a great run and point from Paris Cheabh was quickly followed by a brilliant finish to the net by Meghan Rock to give Dublin the lead.
Chloe O’Connor pushed that lead out to two with a super point over her left shoulder and just before the short whistle Mary Kate Doyle pulled one back for Wexford to leave the bare minimum between sides as they headed to the dressing rooms.
