Dublin Camogie’s Minor B’s Go Down Fighting.

Dublin 2-04 Westmeath 2-08

Dublin’s Minor B’s made the trip down to Mullingar to kick start their Leinster campaign against Westmeath this afternoon.

Even though Dublin were missing a lot of players today, they took the game to Westmeath from the start and took a well deserved lead into the dressing rooms with the scoreboard showing Dublin in front 2-02 to 1-03.

But playing against the wind in the second half and the depleted squad lacking the substitutes to influence the game and give some of the tired legs a rest,Westmeath took full advantage and piled on the pressure.

Dublin battled bravely and never gave up but unfortunately they ran out of steam and Westmeath claimed a four point victory.

All of the players can be very proud of their display today and the fight and spirit they showed throughout the game. They will now look forward to their next match and hopefully they will have a few of the players they were missing today and get back to winning ways.
