Littlewoods Ireland Division 2 National League:

The Dublin Premier Junior team were at home to Laois in Bray Emmetts on Easter Sunday for their Littlewoods Ireland National Camogie Leagues Division 1 fixture.

This was an interesting match as the Laois Manager Dave Dunning previously managed the Dublin team and in 2013 they won a Junior All Ireland under his tenure.

Shane Plowman’s team kept their unbeaten league run intact as they came out winners on a scoreline of 1-08 to 0-05 for Laois.

Their next game is a home fixture against Armagh next Sunday the 8th Of April with the venue and throw-in time to announced in due course later in the week, the details will be available on www.dublincamogie.ie and also on our media partners We Are Dublin GAA’s website www.wearedublin.com.

A victory for Dublin on Sunday against Armagh will see them qualify for the Division 2 semi finals.

Minor A Championship:

The Dublin Minor team bowed out of the Championship after suffering a heavy defeat to Galway in Gort on Saturday, the full time score was Galway 4-08, Dublin 0-03

Best wishes to Dublin players Jody Couch and Sinead Wilde and a speedy recovery from their unfortunate injuries.

Leinster U16A Championship:

The Dublin U16A team travelled to St Lactains, Freshford in Kilkenny on Monday the 2nd Of April for the latest round of the Leinster Championship and were very unlucky to lose a very competitive game by two points. The full time score was Kilkenny 1-08, Dublin 1-06.

Leinster U16B Championship:

On Monday the 2nd of April the Dublin U16B squad welcomed the visit of Westmeath to the Capital for their home fixture in the Leinster Championship with the game taking place at Bray Emmets.

They certainly didn’t roll out the welcome mat though as they put the visitors to the sword in a scintillating display to win by 22 points on a full time scoreline of Dublin 5-11 v Westmeath 1-01.
