DUBLIN CAMOGIE WEEKLY NOTES.
We are Dublin Senior championship finals continued in O’Toole Park on Sunday. Congratulations to Senior 2 Erins Isle who defeated Naomh Uinsionn 4-05 to 0-07 in Senior 2 final to gain Senior 1 status in next year’s championship; to Kilmacud Crokes who took the Senior 4 honours 2-05 to 0-10 in a thrilling game v Faughs Celtic and to Naomh Uinsionn who defeated Cumann Baire Chaoimhin 3-07 to 0-03 in the Senior 5 final.
Senior 6 and 7 finals are on this Sunday in O’Toole Park and that will complete the Senior championship schedule. Our thanks to Dublin GAA and Crumlin for the use of pitch and facilities.
Tough luck on Ballyboden St, Endas and Thomas Davis who lost to Oulart-the Ballagh (Wexford) and Camross, (Laois) in the Leinster senior and intermediate championship semi-finals on Sunday.
Best of luck to all our under age players in championship action over the weekend 1/2nd November. All 15 finals will be played in 5 different venues. Details can be viewed on www.dublincamogie.ie.
U12 School of Excellence: The final session for this year will be held in the Phoenix Park on Saturday November 16th (10am-1pm). The session will take a mini-blitz format. Players who attended at any stage during the summer sessions are invited to attend. Clubs are asked to bring this notice to the attention of their U12 mentors.
Level 2 coaching course: Limited Free places on pilot Level 2 coaching course in Clonmel – 14/15th Nov, 22/23rd Nov, 29th November. Prospective participants must have completed Camogie Coaching Course Level.

Transition year & Gaisce – The Transition Year Camogie programme took place in September and October. We had 51 students complete the first whistle referee course and 42 complete the Foundation Coaching course – a full list of the names & clubs of all participants will be sent to clubs and will be available on www.dublincamogie.ie so students can start practising their new skills in club nurseries and with go games teams.
Leinster Club Forum – Leinster Camogie in conjunction with the Camogie Association would like to invite you all to attend a “Club and County” forum which will be held in Croke Park on the 8th of November.
