Premier Juniors in All Ireland semi-final:
Best wishes to players and Management who play Laois in this year’s All Ireland semi-final in Athy at 4pm this coming Sunday, 24 August. Huge support expected.
Team of the Decade: Congratulations to the 15 players named on the Dublin Camogie Team of the Decade (2015-2014) who were honoured at a special function in the Hilton Hotel, Kilmainham on Saturday 16 August.
Congratulations to Pat Martin, Mona O’Sullivan, Brendan Cooper and Gerry O’Sullivan and all involved with the Team of the Decade Awards Ceremony on the excellent organisation and the superb presentation of the event.
Player of the Decade: Congratulations to Louise O’Hara (Erins Isle) who was chosen Dublin Camogie Player of the Decade 2005-2014. Louise is a very worthy recipient of this huge honour.
Hall of Fame:
Congratulations to Patricia Timmons (Naomh Aoife), Carmel Cooper Kennedy (CIE) and Catherine Connaughton (Erins Isle) who were inducted into Dublin Camogie’s Hall of Fame at the Awards Ceremony on Saturday in recognition of their lifetimes commitment and contribution to Camogie.
All Ireland Poc Fada Final:
Best wishes to Stephanie (Naomh Mearnog) who competes in the 10th Camogie All Ireland Poc Fada final to be held Annaverna Mountain, Ravensdale, Co. Louth on Sunday, 24 August having won the Leinster title recently. Best wishes as she dashes back to Athy for that important Premier Junior game.
Minor A and Minor B:
Mixed fortunes here. The Minor A team defeated Offaly team 2-10 to 1-10 in a very close game Birr. The Minor B team lost to Westmeath 2-08 to 2-04 at Mullingar.
Adult Leagues and Championships: Dates of Championships will be forwarded to all clubs on Tuesday, 26 August. Refixed Summer Cup fixture St. Marks v Liffey Gaels fixed for Sunday 24 August at 11am.

Under 12 Development Squad:
The remaining session is on Friday August 29 at 7pm. All sessions will take place in the Camogie Grounds Phoenix Park with a 7pm start.
Blitz for Leinster clubs:
Leinster Council are holding an under 12 Camogie Blitz on Saturday 16th August in O’Connor Park, Tullamore to celebrate 110 years of Camogie.
