Dublin Minors 27 September in Naas GAA club, Kildare. Minor B Shield final Dublin v Laois at 1.30 pm. Minor A Shield final Dublin v Offaly at 3.00 pm. This will finish their long season.

The County Board will commence our Minor Championships from the 9th November onwards. It is proposed to stage a Minor “A”, “B” and subject to entries a “C” competition. Clubs are requested to return their entry to An Runai by Monday 13th Oct. Clubs should nominate which championship they wish to enter and this will be taken into account when structures/schedules are being drawn up.

All team mentors are asked to check that all players are registered in order to play in the upcoming championships. Team lists are checked and any club found with a player/players listed on their team sheet who have not been registered will be referred to the THDC. Clubs should also ensure that the team lists are up to date and any player no longer playing with a team should not be listed on the team sheet. An Rúnaí must informed by email when a player is registered on the online system.

Juvenile Championships: All 15 underage championship finals will take place on weekend of 1/2 November. Venue and time details later. Please ensure that all trophies are returned to the Minor Board in time.

Juvenile Gala Blitzes will take place as follows: under 8-10 Gala Blitzes will be on Saturday/Sunday 18/19 October; under 11 Gala Blitz on Sunday 9 November. Under 12 on Saturday 25 October (Bank Holiday W/E). Friday 19 September is the deadline for receipt of entries.

Level 2 coaching course: Limited Free places on pilot Level 2 coaching course in Clonmel – 14/15th Nov, 22/23rd Nov, 29th Nov. Prospective participants must have completed Camogie Coaching Course Level 1.

Secondary School Programmes: A camogie programme will take place for TY/Senior students in Post Primary schools and will include: Foundation Course – 25.9.14; Referee course – 30.9.14; 1st year blitz – 8.10.14. Venue is St Brigids GAA Club & playing schools will receive notice about it. The programme helps students achieve their bronze Gaisce award and in turn will benefit your club (nursery/juvenile teams) as students have to complete a block of coaching.
