All Ireland U16A Camogie Championship Half-Time Report

Half-Time in the All Ireland U16A Camogie Championship Game between Dublin and Galway in Parnells Gaa,Coolock and Dublin lead at the break on a scoreline of:

Dublin 1-07 Galway 0-05

Dublin have taken a very deserved lead into the dressing rooms after a very entertaining and highly skilled first thirty minutes.

Dublin started the brightest of the two teams and took advantage of their early dominance with an early goal from Grace O’Shea after some great interplay from the forward division.

Dublin’s Niamh Rock has expertly converted some brilliant long range frees to keep the scoreboard ticking over in Dublin’s favour. Dublin have looked dangerous every time they break forward and Galway have struggled to get any foothold in the game with the Dublin backs tackling as if their lives depended on it.

Galway were awarded a penalty three quarters of the way into the half but decided to take a point instead of going for goal. -Nigel
